… an innovative design solution whilst remaining sensitive to the existing services and listed features.

The result is a contemporary and inviting interior environment that showcases our services and brand, an engaging space that we are immensely proud of.

Glenn Cran : Director – SAVILLS

Savills  Ireland , looking to expand, sought this opportunity to ‘restack’ and re-think their accommodation within a very defined Georgian building inclusive of many ‘listed and heritage protected features.’

The existing Reception and Meeting suite to the Ground Floor fore was very large and ill-defined with issues regarding drafts and lack of meeting facilities.

With no existing drawings and large variations in floor and ceiling heights, we set about the challenge of delivering a world class public-facing fit out within an incredibly tight program.

Design Solution

Arcology set about questioning accommodation and sizes and understanding the existing services, features and drastic variance in  floor and ceiling levels.

As a leading Property consultancy, Savills would have a great deal of visitors with flow and interaction being paramount whilst still maintaining a corporate and contemporary ethos and brand.

We set about adding 3 additional meeting rooms working around existing features, incorporating listed columns and features and opening the internal area to create an interactive coffee bar and presentation area which also serves to showcase and highlight the original features within the building.

Double-glazed partitions with  plasterboard sections ensured visibility through and vistas whilst maintaining acoustics.

Sustainability and sustainable materials were paramount to the client from the offset.

Stone veneer was utilized within the Reception concealed storage with reconstituted strip timber adding to the undulating and design aesthetic of the corridor panelled  storage and display wall
